Das aus der Wüste stammende Asil-Araber ist ein "reinblütiges" Pferd, das über Generationen hinweg auf die alten Pferde des arabischen Volkes zurückgeht.
Damit ein Araber als Asil gilt, muss sein Pedigree ausschließlich auf Beduinenzucht der bekannten oder historisch anerkannten Beduinenstämme der Arabischen Halbinsel oder der Wüsten des Nahen Ostens beruhen.
Desert Origin Asayel (Plural für Asil) Arabische Pferde müssen frei von Kreuzungen mit nicht-arabischen Pferden sein. Desert Origin Asayel Arabian Horses sind von bekannter akzeptabler Herkunft und sind frei von Verunreinigungen.

The Asil Arabian Breeders' Alliance has been working for years on educating the public, and continuing preservation breeding of Asil Arabian horses globally.
